Liminal Spaces
FieldIllustration, Editorial & Poetry

“Liminal Spaces” is a reflection of myself, it mirrors and embraces my constant thinking and observation of what surrounds me.

The book emphasises reflections I developed over and about time with a selection of my written poems and illustrations. It aims to echo in the reader ’s mind, to lead them towards a greater appreciation of the existing, the obvious and the overlooked.
‘Liminal spaces’ takes places in a dream of perpetuity where I, where hopefully you welcome the mundane and vulnerable. By delving into each drawing and poem, the book becomes immersive and inviting: In other words, welcome to my world!

Framed

The night hides unrevealed stories,
The truth we try to disguise.
I heard laughter and unstable cries,
Furies and merging bodies.

What is it that we all await?
The fervour of a lover’s embrace,
The fast erasing of the fabricated face,
A satisfying fate.

The wind caressing unconscious minds,
Sleepless span — polarizing pillow,
One’s soaking in the experience of letting go
As for disguising blinds.

The sound of an non-existent silence,
Whispers linger where truth complies.
Here a light switches on while another dies.
Idle spies, Questing ideals from curious defiance.

The sky is teared by the next steeple,
Pointing towards a hopeful faith,
Lulled by a passing breath,
Yet another sidestepping evil.

Winnowing smoking waves,
Swelling into obscurity
Flying glimmering dust can you lead me?
Your ripples heads to the braves.

The moon heartbeats the routine of our fantaisies.
Natural order of ever-changing fallacies,
Voiceless stream of tragedies,
Amid untold realities.

March

I
For Helios gleaming ray
On the delayed hour,
I settled stay
By the tower

I did not see filth
But farfetched ease
Of a tranquil myth
I had to seize

II
Yet blessed
I could not flee
The unpredictable crest
I could foresee

III
Tremendously thwarted
In muted tangible thirst,
Tireless restrain extorted
By the train finally burst

Mysterious ways
To sweet unrest
Two soothing chests
To a teaming gaze

IV
Teeming gentle whispers
Soothing my soul
With disarmed filters
I feel whole
